Campus Safety ESSENTIAL
Always Carry Your Student ID
Your student identification card must be visible at all times on campus. This helps security personnel identify authorized individuals and ensures campus safety.
Be Aware of Campus Operating Hours
The campus is open from Open Monday-Sunday from 0600hrs - 2000hrs on Day, Evening and Weekend Classes. Avoid staying late without proper authorization and always inform security if you need to access facilities after hours.
Know Emergency Exits and Assembly Points
Familiarize yourself with all emergency exits, fire assembly points, and emergency equipment locations. Participate in safety drills when conducted.
Personal Safety
Secure Your Belongings
Never leave your bags, laptops, or valuables unattended. Use lockers provided in common areas and always lock your personal storage spaces.
Use the Buddy System
When staying late for studies or group work, use the buddy system. Walk to parking areas or public transport in groups, especially after dark.
Parking Lot Safety
Park in well-lit areas, lock your vehicle, and don't leave valuables in sight. Have your keys ready when approaching your vehicle.

Strong Password Practices
Use unique, complex passwords for your campus accounts. Never share your login credentials and enable two-factor authentication where available.
Secure Network Usage
Only connect to official MSBE networks. Avoid using public Wi-Fi for sensitive academic or personal activities without a VPN.
Phishing Awareness
Be cautious of suspicious emails, links, or attachments. MSBE will never ask for your password via email. Report suspicious messages to IT support immediately.

First Aid Awareness
Know the location of first aid kits and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) on campus. Basic first aid training is available through student services.
Substance-Free Campus
MSBE maintains a strict no-alcohol, no-drugs policy on campus. Report any concerns about substance use to campus security or counseling services.
Mental Health Support
Your mental wellbeing is important. Counseling services are available confidentially. Don't hesitate to reach out if you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed.
